Geneva Bostian earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering as valedictorian from a joint program at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She led a senior design project that developed a Class 1 medical device to optimize colonoscopy procedures, overseeing the project from concept to beta prototype testing and validation. With several years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical cGMP, and FDA medical device development, Geneva previously worked as a project manager consultant, coordinating preventive maintenance and corrective actions in cGMP environments, developing training and safety programs, and drafting regulatory documents for various biotech and pharmaceutical startups.

At Myers Bigel, Geneva is a member of the firm’s electrical engineering patent practice group, where she partners closely with attorneys in patent prosecution in the U.S. and internationally. Her expertise includes medical device development, technical writing, R&D, patentability searches, CAD modeling, engineering drawings, and coding integration for electrical and mechanical components.
