ERIC NUSS JOINS MYERS BIGEL

Myers Bigel is excited to announce that Eric Nuss has joined the firm’s award-winning legal team, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise.

Eric received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. Before embarking on his legal career, Eric worked for over a decade as a Senior Radar Systems Engineer, designing, developing, and optimizing radar system software and hardware.

With nearly 30 years of experience in patent law, Eric is skilled in all aspects of patent drafting and prosecution. His practice includes providing opinions on validity, patentability, freedom to operate, infringement, and non-infringement, as well as strategic patent counseling and litigation support. Eric also has extensive experience in domestic and global patent portfolio management, helping clients make informed decisions about intellectual property strategies.

Eric specializes in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical arts, leveraging his technological expertise in areas such as telecommunications, wireless and optical communications, network systems, machine learning, semiconductors, integrated circuits, power converters, radar systems, medical devices, vehicle electronics, cryptography, secure processing, blockchain, business methods, and software applications.

Eric joins a team of attorneys and patent agents emphasizing patent procurement in practice areas including electronics/computer, mechanical, trademark, chemical and biotechnology. The firm’s experience with domestic and international patents is vast, having successfully filed in practically every country in the world, drafting quality patents that cover the full scope of an invention and stand up to courtroom challenges.
