Myers Bigel Continues to Share Best Practices, Learning Opportunities for Legal Professionals
Myers Bigel will be presenting “Strategies in IP Licensing and Due Diligence, and a Review of Recent Developments in IP Law” at the Archie K. Davis Conference Center in Research Triangle Park May 11.
This is a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course hosted by the firm through the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC).
The May 11 event will address topics related to IP licensing such as IP due diligence; the use of in- and out-licensing to fuel growth and build capabilities; how governance structure can affect licensee-licensor relationships; and the impact of challenges to the license agreement or the underlying patents.
The event will also include a discussion of important recent developments related to the practice of intellectual property law including recent changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and PTAB rules governing post-grant proceedings and several recent decisions from the Federal Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court.
Presenters include Myers Bigel attorneys Sherry Murphy, Laura Kelley, and Peter Siddoway as well as Beth Fordham-Meier, founder and principal of NovoCreation Consulting, LLC, who serves as Director of IP Transactions for Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine.
