Grant Scott received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia, summa cum laude, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Grant is a member of the North Carolina Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Grant’s work experience includes several years’ research experience with IBM’s Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York. Grant has been practicing patent law since 1991, and focuses his prosecution practice in the fields of microelectronics and discrete semiconductor devices. Grant has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® (2013-2025).
