Myers Bigel Hosting July 29, 2014 CLE Presentation

Myers Bigel is pleased to offer the following CLE presentation at 4141 Parklake Avenue, Suite 500, Raleigh, NC 27612 on July 29, 2014, beginning at 3PM. The presentation is titled “How to Lose Friends and Troll Patents” and will be presented by Saurabh Vishnubhakat.  Saurabh Vishnubhakat is a post-doctoral associate at the Duke Law School Center for Innovation Policy.  He specializes in intellectual property law, civil procedure, and litigation, particularly from an empirical perspective.  He is also an expert legal advisor in the USPTO’s Office of Chief Economist, where he has served since 2010 on a wide range of economic and legal policy issues including ownership and transparency in the markets for technology, patent and competition law implications of standard-setting, and the patent system’s role for fostering innovation in emerging technology sectors.  An application for CLE credit will be submitted to the North Carolina State Bar following the class.
