Myers Bigel Staff Members Elected to Leadership Positions in RTPA

Myers Bigel congratulates staff members Kirsten Carlos and Betty Lou Rosser on their election as 2011 officers of the Research Triangle Paralegal Association (RTPA). Kirsten was elected to the position of President, while Betty Lou was elected Secretary.

RTPA is a professional organization established by and for paralegals who reside in or are employed in Durham, Orange, or Wake County, North Carolina. RTPA holds bi-monthly lunch meetings focused on informative topics intended to encourage the professional and/or personal growth of the organization’s members. Topics discussed at past meetings have included career counseling, paralegal certification legislation, paralegals as mentors, useful internet research tools, financial counseling, and stress management.
